The establishment purpose of our hospital is to provide our patients with safe, quality and rapid healthcare. Our university’s understanding of quality in healthcare has been certified with “TS-EN ISO 9001: 2015”. In this respect, our center is not different from Başkent University’s 9 other hospitals spread across the country. To put it briefly, our center carries the knowledge and experience of Başkent University to Istanbul in a new building.

In addition to our 126-bed main building, which consists of a closed area of ​​approximately 13,000 square meters, we serve with our additional service outpatient clinics and our 44-bed Cekmekoy Dialysis Center.

10-bed Anesthesia and Reanimation Intensive Care,

Service is provided with 6-bed KVC Intensive Care units.
Inpatient services are available on 2 floors in the main hospital building. Close monitoring and safety are at the forefront for patients hospitalized in the wards. The emergency warning system called “Code Blue” and telemetric monitoring are among these security elements. Patients can be watched from fixed monitors in places where they sleep, as well as they can be watched from monitors when they walk out of their rooms. Thus, rhythm problems that may arise while walking while not lying can also be identified. The “Code Blue” system is activated when a warning is received from the nurse call systems in the patient room and bathroom. An “emergency response team” that is present at any moment arrives at the scene as soon as possible and undertakes the “animation” process that has already been initiated on site. It is controlled by the management whether this intervention is performed at the required speed and whether the team arrives on time.

In addition, technical features such as operating room, intensive care and heat and ventilation follow-ups of the floors, performance of generators are constantly monitored from the central automation control center. Uninterrupted power supplies are continuously kept in critical areas against power outages. Continuing its rapid development in Istanbul, Başkent University has further expanded its service area with new polyclinics.
