What is Hair Transplantation?
Hair transplantation; is an aesthetic surgery operation that is performed to restore the shed or diluted hair. In fact, the procedure is the autologous (taken from the person) tissue transplantation, which is the basis of plastic surgery. The main purpose of plastic surgery is to improve the appearance of the person, thereby bringing individuals who are at peace with him and his appearance. Hair transplantation is one of the most basic surgeries that serve this purpose. In eyebrow, beard and mustache deficiencies, hair follicles taken from the hair region are used as material for the repair / transplantation of these areas. Therefore, eyebrow transplantation and beard mustache transplantation are also included in the scope of hair transplantation.
What is FUE Hair Transplantation
In the FUE Hair Transplantation (= follicular unite extraction) method, hair grafts are taken one by one, it is not possible to cut the scalp with surgical scalpel and close this area with stitches. In other words, there is no long and obvious scar on the nape of the patient. Here, a very small incision of 0.5-0.9 millimeters (pipe-shaped tools with a sharp tip) is made in the skin and a small incision is made, and the follicular units are removed one by one. Although basically it is perceived that there is a difference between FUT and FUE techniques only in terms of obtaining hair follicles, there is actually a difference between the results of the two operations.
Can i get natural hair?
Yes, today thousands of hair grafts can be taken with the FUE technique and hair transplants can be made naturally, incomprehensibly often. The most determining points in this regard are the surgeon’s experience and the patient’s hair density in the donor area.
Is hair transplantation a painful procedure?
Today, pain and pain are not felt during hair transplantation. It is a surprise for most patients to feel much less pain than they think. In hair transplantation, as well as physiological pain, psychological factors can increase pain and make the person restless. It is very important to prepare patients for the operation psychologically. For this, besides detailed information, patients can be relieved with the medication given before the operation. The procedure is virtually painless.
When and how do my hair grow?
It will take about 3-6 months for your first hair to grow. Then we expect an elongation of about 1 cm per month. The first hair is more dull, curly or wavy, thinner and thinner. Over time, the hair shines, thickens, turns its color and enters its normal form.
How many days do i need to stay in Turkey for Procedure?
Generally 2 nights 3 days is enought. First day arriving, second day operation, third day taking out the dressings and turning back to country is possible after FUE treatment.
